Christopher Day Memorial Scholarship
Graduating High School senior pursuing a degree in Culinary Arts. Accepted into an accredited program. Preference given to student involved in the ProStart program. $500 non-renewable.
Shirley Mudy Scholarship Fund
Graduating senior from Hanover Central, Lowell, Crown Point or Lake Central High School who will be attending any college, university or vocational school. Applicant must have participated in the Cedar Lake Girls Softball League for at least 3 years. $500 minimum
Walter J. Bernacki Memorial Scholarship- Graduating senior football player from Lake Central, Lowell or Crown Point High School attending an accredited college or university, GPA 3.25 or higher, worked part or full-time while attending high school. $500 non-renewable.
Marilee Thanholdt Memorial Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior chosen by English chair. Amount varies.
Forrest and Millicent Everett Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior pursuing degree in special education. Amount varies.
L. Jane Keene Scholarship— CP resident, graduate of or graduating CPHS, traditional or non-traditional student attending college or vocational school. Amount varies.
Todd Szanyi Memorial Scholarship— Male and female athletes of the year at Hanover Central High School. $500 each, non-renewable.
Col. John Wheeler PTA Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior, attended Wheeler Middle school, 3.0GPA. Requires additional essay. $500 non-renewable.
Robert Taft Middle School PTA Scholarship- CPHS graduating senior, attended Taft Middle School all 3 years. 3 $500 scholarships, non-renewable.
Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary School PTO Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. Must have attended Eisenhower Elementary School 4th and 5th grades. $500 non-renewable.
Lake Street Elementary School PTO Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. Must have attended Lake Street School 4th and 5th grades. $500 non-renewable.
Douglas MacArthur Elementary School PTO Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. Must have attended MacArthur Elementary School 4th and 5th grades. $500 non-renewable.
Jerry Ross/Winfield Elementary School PTO Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. Must have attended either of these schools at any grade level. 2 scholarships per year. $500 each non-renewable.
Solon Robinson Elementary School PTO Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. Must have attended Solon Robinson Elementary School 4th and 5th grades. $500 non-renewable.
Timothy Ball Elementary School PTO Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. Must have attended Timothy Ball Elementary School 4th and 5th grades. $500 non-renewable.
St. Mary Catholic Community School Scholarship— Graduating senior. Must be graduate of St. Mary School Crown Point and have performed religious service through high school. 2 scholarships. $500 each, non-renewable.
Trinity Lutheran CP PTL Scholarship- Graduating senior and Trinity Lutheran Crown Point graduate. Minimum C average. 2 $500 scholarships. Non-renewable.
Robert “Bob” Brown Memorial Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior interested in the sciences. $500 non-renewable.
American Italian Benevolent Society Scholarship— Lake or Porter County resident with Italian descent. Attending college or university. 3.0 GPA. Amount varies.
John D. Amodeo Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior majoring in business, attending any IN college or university. $1,000 non-renewable.
Barney’s Hub Bootery Scholarship— Must be Crown Point resident, graduating senior, with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Scholarship is renewable for 3 years. $1,000 per year, renewable for 3 years.
Mark and Lindsay Bates Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior attending any Indiana college. Preference given to Solon Robinson alum. $1,000 non-renewable.
Youche Country Club Scholarship— Son/daughter/grandchild of Youche member in good standing for at least 2 years attending college or vocational school, 3.0 GPA. Amount varies.
CPCF Scholarships— Crown Point residents attending college. Amount depends on donations received for scholarships.
Dean and Barbara White Scholarship— CPHS graduating female senior attending a state sponsored university, preferably majoring in nursing or medical field. Full 8 semester scholarship. Need based.
Dean and Barbara White Scholarship— CPHS graduating male senior attending a state sponsored university, majoring in business. Full 8 semester scholarship. Need based.
Ralph E. Bennett Memorial Scholarship— student enrolled in the Construction Engineering and Management Technologies Program at Purdue Northwest. Must maintain 3.0GPA.
Burrell Family Scholarship— South Lake County resident taking college classes majoring in visual and performing arts. 2 scholarships per year. $3,000. Can re-apply.
Wilbert Buth Music Scholarship— Graduating senior, who attended Trinity Lutheran School CP. Prefer music major. Amount varies.
Jerry Caravana Athletic Director Senior Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior who lettered in their senior year. 2.5 GPA or higher. $1,000 non-renewable.
Mark Edwards Memorial Scholarship— Andrean graduating senior who was involved on the football team. $500 non-renewable.
Paul and Dorthea Everett Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. Amount varies.
Tim Galusha Memorial Scholarship— Member of CPHS Cross Country Team selected by coach. Amount varies.
Al Gruber Senior Social Studies Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior selected by CPHS Social Studies department. $1,000 non-renewable.
Kay Hubbard Music Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior involved in music. $1,000 non-renewable.
Tiny Knesek Bohling Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. $500 non-renewable.
Kathy, Jim and Russ Keller Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior intending to major in special education. Amount varies, non-renewable.
Russ Keller Family Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior accepted at IU Bloomington, 3.0 GPA, involved in community/volunteer activities. $500 non-renewable.
Charles Kleinschmidt Memorial Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior, 3.0 GPA. $1,000 non-renewable.
George Letz Jr. Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior involved on swim team. Selected by swim coach. $1000 non-renewable.
Karen Pruzin Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior girl involved in tennis or basketball, 2.5GPA or above, and a CPHS graduating senior boy involved in baseball or basketball, 2.5GPA or above. $1,000 each non-renewable.
Charles and Marjorie Quickle Scholarship— CP or CP school district resident pursuing degree in divinity or theology work with ministers. Amount varies.
Donald and Phyllis (Dillabaugh) Ross Purdue Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior accepted at Purdue Lafayette with a 3.0GPA majoring in Engineering, Science or Education. non-renwable scholarship, amount varies.
Maurine Schlemmer Memorial Scholarship- CPHS graduating senior, majoring in secondary education. $500 non-renewable
Gail and Gil Stiener Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. Amount varies. Non-renewable
BJ Hubbard Scholarship— CPHS graduating Senior attending any IN college. $1,000 non-renwable.
Russell C. Westphall Family Scholarship— CPHS graduating senior. $500 non-renewable.
Crown Point High School Robodogs Scholarship-CPHS graduating senior, active member in Robodogs for at least 3 years, including senior year. $500 non-renewable.
William G. and Phyllis M. Fatch Scholarship-CPHS graduating senior majoring in education. $750 non-renewable.
Marty Shahbaz Football Scholarship - CPHS graduating senior, involved on football team. Chosen by football coach. $500, non-renewable.
Lisa Schaefer Stover Scholarship – Graduating senior in Lake Co., IN attending Purdue Lafayette and majoring in vet science. $1,000 non-renewable
Zondor Family Scholarship – CP resident, graduating senior attending Butler or DePauw. Min. 3.0GPA.
$500.00 non-renewable.
Candace Lynne Walton Scholarship - CPHS graduating senior, min. 3.0GPA, involved in music and sports, attending any US college or technical school. Amount varies, non-renewable.
Crown Point Youth Baseball Scholarship - Crown Point resident, graduating senior, min 2.75GPA, participated in CP Youth Baseball a minimum of 3 years AND through playing age of 12, attending college or vocational school. $500.00 non-renewable.
Barbara Jenkins Tyler Speech Scholarship - CPHS graduating senior, chosen by Speech Dept. $500 non-renewable.
Jackie Staniszeski Scholarship - CPHS graduating senior, attended Wheeler or Taft Middle School, majoring in Culinary Arts/Hospitality. $500 non-renewable.
Manhart/Gibbons Family Memorial Scholarship Graduating High School senior, Crown Point resident, majoring in music/art. Amount varies.
Virgil Place Scholarship CPHS graduating senior interested in majoring in natural sciences or humanities, no theology. Minimum 3.0GPA. $4,000 per year for 4 years.
Helen Zielinski and Ray Stuck Family Scholarship Andrean or Crown Point High School graduating senior, music or art major, B average. $500 non-renewable.
Tri Kappa Scholarships Crown Point resident, graduating senior, attending accredited college or university full time. Amount of scholarships varies.
Crown Point Rotary Scholarships Crown Point resident, graduating senior. Emphasis on academics, financial need, work experience, school and community involvement. Amount of scholarships varies.
Liss CARSTAR Scholarship Crown Point High School graduating senior attending Butler or Ball State University. $1,000 non-renewable.
Marie Van Slyke Memorial Scholarship Crown Point High School graduating senior. $500 non-renewable.
JoAnne and Jim Haag Scholarship South Lake County resident, 25 yrs old or younger, attending building trades or auto/deisel mechanics program leading to a certificate or degree. $1,000 non-renewable.
Crown Point Lions Club Scholarship- CPHS graduate, completed the second semester in a program leading to a bachelor’s degree in speech and hearing pathology, optometry, or related fields, at an accredited college or university by the time the scholarship is to be paid. Applicants enrolled in post grad degree programs in the indicated fields of study shall also be eligible. Applicants must be enrolled as full time students. Other selection criteria will be financial need, scholastic ability, character, leadership and integrity. $1,000 non-renewable.

Kathy Townsend Memorial Scholarship Fund Lake County, IN resident over the age of 21, pursuing nursing degree at a local college or university. Need based. $1,000 non-renewable. Apply in January 2016 on the Kathy Townsend Memorial Scholarship Application.

Ron and Suzanne Borto Scholarship- Lake County, IN resident over 25 continuing their education at a college, university or technical school. 2 $500 scholarships. Non-renewable. “*Apply for this scholarship in summer 2016.
Women’s Giving Circle Scholarship- Female Crown Point resident over 21 continuing their education beyond high school at a college, university or technical school or program. Amount and number of scholarships vary, depending on donations to this fund. Apply for this scholarship in summer 2016.
Fran and Billie Hoffman Scholarship-Crown Point resident pursuing a certificate or degree in bookkeeping or accounting, or a Crown Point resident pursuing a certificate in auto, truck or diesel mechanics. 2 $900 scholarships. Non-renewable. Apply for this scholarship in summer 2016.

Symphony on the Lawn is held every summer on the last Saturday in July on the lawn at Franciscan Communities in Crown Point at 7:30PM.
